Municorn | Business mobile apps, US
Task: explore whether there is a viable US B2B niche among self-employed professionals for invoicing, accounting and expense tracking. What we did: ran 27 in-depth interviews across 4 iterations with self-employed professionals, small business owners and specialized accountants, mapping segments, needs and channels.

Result: identified the most promising directions in finance workflows, defined a clear target segment and “super app” concept, and validated accountants as the key distribution channel for US go-to-market.

I had the pleasure of working with Vadim on a project focused on a JTBD (Jobs-To-Be-Done) study of computational chemists' workflows in the early stages of drug discovery. Vadim’s well-executed interviews provided invaluable insights that helped us make several critical decisions for the project.

Collaborating with Vadim was a seamless and enjoyable experience. His professionalism, expertise, and dedication ensured outstanding results that fully met our expectations. I highly recommend Vadim for any project requiring strategic thinking, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of complex processes.

It is my pleasure to recommend Vadim, with whom I had the opportunity to work closely on a Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD) research project targeting large pharmaceutical companies in the U.S. market. Vadim’s role involved conducting research with a focus on key roles such as medicinal chemists, heads of chemistry, and biological chemists. Over the course of the project, Vadim conducted 19 in-depth interviews, which I personally observed, and his exceptional expertise, professionalism, and methodical approach were evident throughout.

Vadim and I conducted all the interviews together, with me serving as an observer of his outstanding skill in managing the research process. He demonstrated an exceptional ability to engage with respondents, ask precise, thoughtful questions, and extract valuable insights during interviews. Beyond the interviews, his post-processing work in analyzing and synthesizing results was exemplary. Vadim meticulously organized the findings, identified key patterns and actionable insights, and assembled a comprehensive report that continues to provide valuable strategic direction for our organization.

Vadim’s diligence and responsibility were evident at every stage of the project. He consistently met deadlines, prepared thoroughly for every task, and maintained clear communication throughout. Additionally, his structured methodology and attention to detail ensured that no element of the research was overlooked. He also demonstrated the ability to balance detail-oriented rigor with a broader strategic perspective, which made his work both practical and highly impactful.

One of Vadim’s greatest strengths is his ability to foster a collaborative and productive working environment. Our discussions were always filled with mutual understanding, constructive creativity, and a shared commitment to the project’s goals. While Vadim initially lacked domain-specific expertise in AI for drug discovery, he quickly gained a deep understanding of this complex field, which enabled him to deliver results of the highest quality. That said, having this expertise at the outset might have further elevated his already excellent contributions.

I wholeheartedly recommend Vadim for challenging research projects. His diligence, structured methodology, and ability to deliver actionable insights make him an exceptional choice. Above all, Vadim’s work is consistently relevant, practical, and impactful, addressing real-world challenges with clarity and precision.

We were launching the CustDev process and realized we were still at the MVP stage. We needed a structured transition to a working model suitable for commercial use.
Vadim started with a diagnostic of our current state: he assessed how the process was organized and proposed a clear plan for moving toward the target model. Throughout the work, I received feedback on interim results, recommendations for adjusting the next steps, and practical tools for managing the process. A key part was the methodology: we now have clear documents and checklists describing CustDev, along with a set of useful techniques for enhancing it with AI.

What I especially valued was the balance between structure and flexibility. Vadim helped keep the framework of tasks in place while adapting the approach to my context. He worked in a true partnership mode—responding quickly to questions, offering concrete advice, and helping me develop my own expertise.

The result: we moved from MVP to a stable CustDev process ready for everyday use. We gained a clear direction for further development and an understanding of how to build internal expertise. I plan to assess the financial impact of these changes in one to two quarters, so the ROI will be confirmed later, but the strategic value is already clear.
I recommend working with Vadim to companies and professionals who want not just to “try” CustDev but to embed it as a real, functioning process.
